The Global Gathering (GG) will take place on September 27, 28, and 29 in Estoril, Portugal. The event is meant to provide digital rights defenders and their allies a space to network, share knowledge, collectively brainstorm, and, most importantly, rejuvenate. Event activities will focus on enhancing networking and collaborative discussions, including meetups, workshops, and project showcases.

Once we review your application, we will notify you if you have been accepted. Please note, there is limited space (900 participants) and the committee will focus on curating a diverse group of participants.

• Apply for the 2025 Global Gathering

  The Global Gathering (GG) will take place on September 27, 28, and 29 in Estoril, Portugal. The event is meant to provide digital rights defenders and their allies a space to network, share knowledge, collectively brainstorm, and, most importantly, rejuvenate. Event activities will focus on enhancing networking and collaborative discussions, including meetups, workshops, and project showcases. Anyone is welcome to apply, regardless of their country or origin, language, or background. The only requirement is that they are actively working in digital rights, internet freedom, or protecting their communities from digital attacks and oppression.
